This Section wants to be the reference point for all operators of the Household / Professional Appliances and Consumer Electronics market in relation to pre- and post-sale services, and to service management issues. The main sectors target by the Section are: white and brown appliances, small appliances, conditioning and heating, consumer electronics, audio-video, telephone market, personal computers, hobby, DIY and entertainment. The Section promotes workshops, training, dissemination and competence transfer, aiming to define organizational and management best-practices.

The Section is structured in two working groups: the Production and Sales area and the After Sales Operators area.

Among the topics addressed by the Section are: products and services portfolio, new models for spare parts demand and inventory planning, after-sales process, the total cost of ownership, revenue and cost analysis of the after-sales service operators, after-sales process modeling, after-sales performance measurement systems, customer care and call centers, wireless field force automation, home automation, remote control and remote assistance, after-sales information systems.
