Our Missions
The goal of ASAP
ASAP’s goal is to accompany businesses in developing a more effective, beneficial, and sustainable economic model. The shift from a product-centric system to value creation through integrated, people-centered services is a necessary and constructive transformation.
New business strategies and the possibilities offered by technology make it possible to gain resilience and competitiveness even in a market subject to constant change. The skills and experience gained over 20 years of research and innovation allow us to be an active part of this evolution, working closely with member entrepreneurs.
The study and application of innovative solutions are marked by three different complementary missions: scientific research, training, and technology transfer from research to enterprise.
Three missions, one common goal
Scientific Research
Our Interuniversity Research Center is daily engaged in multiple scientific research projects in the broad domain of servitization and development of advanced services in industrial enterprises.
The goals and topics of these projects are collegially defined by community participants, to generate new knowledge and solutions regarding concrete and current problems.
This knowledge is then enhanced, disseminated, and transferred through second and third mission initiatives.
Academic and professional training
The teaching and research staff of the ASAP Inter-University Research Center collaborate in academic training initiatives on the topic of servitization, with teaching assignments at numerous Bachelor’s, Doctoral, and Master’s Degree and Master’s Degree University courses.
The Center collaborates with community businesses, human resource management professionals, corporate academies, vocational schools, and training agencies to provide qualified faculty, including university-based faculty, in technical, vocational, and management training projects.
Evaluation and technology transfer
The knowledge generated through the scientific research projects carried out at our Center is valorized and disseminated through:
- The publication of articles, thematic reports, books and monographs, and multimedia content through numerous partnerships with specialized publishers and media.
- The organization of scientific and popular conferences and seminars.
- The organization of workshops, visits, and events that include networking moments, to encourage meetings, discussion, relationship development, and contamination of knowledge among managers and researchers.
- The orchestration of an open innovation ecosystem, composed of university spin-offs, technology and consulting service vendors, associations, Italian and foreign Departments, and Research Centers, for the development of joint research, development, and innovation projects, including with the facilitation of public funding.
