PURPOSES AND CONDITIONS MAKING THE PROCESSING LAWFUL
1. Provision of the requested services
The data you provide will be processed for the following purposes:
- Registration to the website www.asapsmf.org that provides access to free content (e.g., research reports, publications, etc.) of Inter-University Center ASAP (hereinafter: “ASAP Center”);
- Involvement in ASAP Center research activities (e.g., surveys, phone interviews, etc.);
- Registration for free events (conferences, workshops, seminars, etc.) organized by ASAP Center.
The condition that makes the processing lawful is your consent (optional and revocable at any time).
Fulfill obligations established by regulations and by applicable national and supranational legislation. The condition that makes the processing lawful is the need to fulfill legal obligations.
If necessary, your data will be processed to ascertain, exercise or defend the rights of the Data Controller in court. The condition that makes the processing lawful is a legitimate interest of the Data Controller.
2. Scientific promotion and dissemination
The data you provide will be processed with your consent for the following additional processing purposes:
- Periodic sending of the “ASAP Newsletter” with latest news on ASAP Center research and events;
- E-mail communications regarding ASAP Center events (e.g., invitations to conferences, workshops, seminars, etc.) and ASAP Center free or premium content (e.g., publications, reports, etc.)
- Sending extensive surveys through the online channel. The results of the surveys will be treated anonymously and in aggregated form and will help implement the scientific research activities of ASAP Center.

PERSONAL DATA STORAGE PERIOD
1. Provision of the requested services
Data will be kept:
- In relation to registration on the website up to a maximum of 10 years after giving your consent
- In relation to involvement in research activities up to a maximum of 10 years after giving your consent.
- In relation to registration for events up to a maximum of 10 years after each event.
2. Scientific promotion and dissemination
The data will be kept until the consent is revoked and, in any case, up to a maximum of 10 years.
