Servitization and Beyond: Explaining the Transformation
The ASAP Interuniversity Research Center is pleased to announce the XX ASAP FORUM to celebrate its twenty years of activity in the field of servitization. The conference will bring together experienced managers and researchers from around the world to explore the challenges, opportunities and future prospects of servitization, such as Tim Baines, Professor of Operations Strategy at Aston Business School.
During the event, there will be numerous testimonials from managers from industry-leading companies as well as influential academics. Successful case studies, in-depth discussions and new research in the field of servitization will be presented. Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with industry experts, share their experiences and gain new insights that they can apply to their own businesses.

The meeting point between business and research
The ASAP community combines the academic expertise of four different Italian Universities (University of Bergamo, Brescia, Florence, and Piemonte Orientale) and the contributions of managers and industrial companies, to produce innovation and concrete results.
We are convinced that servitization is the main tool to develop an Outcome Industry model capable of producing extraordinary benefits both economically socially and environmentally.

Our three missions
Within the community, university research groups and companies collaborate on innovation in service design and management, strategic “service business” development, and change management. In particular, we deal with:

Scientific Research and Innovation
We conduct scientific research projects to generate new knowledge in digital servitization and advanced service development in industrial enterprises. Professors, researchers, doctoral students, and fellows from the founding universities or partner universities – Italian or foreign – collaborate with managers and entrepreneurs, consultants, and industry experts to concretely respond to the current needs of enterprises.

Advanced Training and Consulting
We collaborate with corporate academies, vocational schools, and training agencies to provide qualified teaching in professional training projects. In addition, we participate in the design and management of academic training initiatives on the topic of servitization, in undergraduate, doctoral, and master’s university courses.

Valorization and application of results
We foster the valorization and transfer of scientific research results to disseminate innovation in all relevant fields and sectors. From organizing events to publishing popular and scientific articles to creating an open, dynamic, and always up-to-date innovation ecosystem. University spin-offs, providers of technological solutions and consulting services, associations, departments, and research organizations are among those involved in our activities.
